#feedthehungry
Cycling Network International is a grassroots network of charity-focused cycling events and programs aimed at fighting hunger and food insecurity, which bring together riders, volunteers, and community members in the spirit of paying it forward through a shared love of cycling. We produce events like the first-ever RideforCityHarvest (2018, 2019,2021), which in its first three years raised funds to rescue over 120,000 lbs. of food for hungry and food-insecure New Yorkers. Fundraising Events for NoKidHungry and during the 2020 season of Covid, we also launched our new 'Bags on Bikes' program that has fed over 600 homeless individuals with bagged meals hand-prepared and bike-delivered by CNI members and volunteers.
In the past several years we have raised over $75,000 for various charities and participated in many charity bike rides/events like God’sLoveWeDeliver, Bike4Chai, the Ride for Mental Health, and Chef'sCycle/NoKidHungry. We sponsor the Brands Cuevas Junior Development Team and have donated bikes and clothes to kids . Our goal is to host and produce additional Charity Rides and to do our part in eradicating hunger in our backyards.
